Praesentia is a sensorial space created to give young people a break from the noise, demands, and performance culture of everyday life. In a time where calm and presence are in short supply, Praesentia invites you into a church space where sound, light, and visuals create an open and wordless experience.
The project is driven by a wish to activate the church space anew – not as a counterpoint to tradition, but as a contemporary interpretation of its aesthetics and potential. The church’s unique architecture, tranquility, and history provide the framework for an installation where one can simply be, sense, and immerse oneself.
The project will take part in uKirken at Copenhagen Light Festival 2025.
